The Health Physics Centre (HPC) is Ghana’s national reference point in radiation protection, dosimetry, and non-ionising radiation safety. HPC provides technical oversight, research, and training to ensure the safe use of ionising and non-ionising radiation across medical, industrial, and environmental sectors. The Centre plays a vital role in monitoring occupational exposure, calibrating radiation instruments, and advancing public understanding of radiation risks.
